Estee Lauder will launch Modern Muse, a new fragrance for women, in September. Modern Muse is reportedly the brand’s “first major women’s scent statement” since 2003′s Beyond Paradise and aims to “cast women as stars in their own lives”.
Modern Muse was concocted by Harry Fremont, the nose behind the famous Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren, a number of Vera Wang's biggest hits (including Princess), and the co-creator of the smash hit CK One fragrance.
The scent combines a fresh and light jasmine accord (expanded with mandarin, lily, honeysuckle, tuberose and petals) with woodier notes building up from amber wood, patchouli, vanilla and musk.
Estee Lauder Modern Muse will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, a 30 ml Parfum will be introduced in 2014.
Estée Lauder launched a new limited edition collection of cosmetics for Summer 2013, which includes Pleasures Pop,a flanker of the original Pleasures fragrance from 1995.The new fragrance is described as a lively and colorful combination of flowers refreshed with fruity accords.
The composition begins with bold and sparkling notes of pink grapefruit, blackcurrant, litchi, raspberry and freesia. Its feminine heart encompasses flowers of lily, jasmine, pink peony and Wardia rose. The soft and sensual base includes benzoin, cedar, musk, vanilla and heliotrope.
The perfume comes in a transparent bottle of the iconic form, this time colored in fluorescent pink. It is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
